No catchy title today
October 30, 2006Well, since my other half refuses to post, I guess I should give you guys something 
A lot has been going on over the last few weeks. We’re trying to get his house sold (know anyone who needs a house in the ATL metro?) and I had to get $1500 worth of repairs done to my car. Ouch! Combine that with paying two mortgages as well as a few upcoming ski trips (you know we can’t not ski) and my wallet is hurting. I actually had to dip into my savings which wasn’t fun.
We’ve decided to host Thanksgiving at our house as well as a housewarming sometime in December so the heat is on to make some headway in terms of finishing decorating but now it MUST be done on a budget. I can’t find any reasonably priced cherry barstools anywhere.
On the bright side, I got a new client last week and plans are in place to acquire another income stream in about six months. I’m all about diversifying and multiple streams of incomes so I need to come up with some new ideas. What kind of things do you guys have going in addition to your 9-to-5?
I don’t have a lot of ideas to offer you, but I will say this: instead of drips and drabs, swing for the fences!
At least, that’s what I’m going to do. If I go out, I’m going to go out swinging.
