The never-ending quest
November 12, 2007I’d been wanting to epoxy the garage floor for quite some time. Hubby and I finally got it done this weekend. It looks great. However, now that the floor looks nice, the walls and stairs look dingy. Staining the stairs will be a quick easy task but the walls are 10 feet high! That would require ladders and much time. Bleh. I’ve been trying to think of a solution that doesn’t require painting to the ceiling but I think chair rails would look dumb in a garage. Sheesh.
Gotta finish whatcha started lol! My mom is redowing her dining room and just wanted to refinish the hardwood floors. Now she’s repainting, adding new lighting and may be getting new furniture. She’s at the point now that she just wants it done so she wont’ spend any more money.

pictures, pictures, pictures. My wife has been dying to do something to our front porch, and I have been against it. But she’s doing it anyway, and I’m starting to like how it’s coming. It’s a mixture of slate and aggregate, maybe I’ll post pics if she finishes before it gets cold.
