December 8, 2007Well hubby and I are SUPPOSED to be rug shopping. However, I made the mistake of answering the phone on the way out the door. Now he’s been on the phone for 30 minutes and counting. The person who called is a former child star who wants to work with one of the organizations that hubby is involved in so he can’t exactly rush the person off the phone. Boo!
On a more positive note, we had an impromptu date night last night and had so much fun. I didn’t feel like cooking dinner plus I had a taste for some dessert. So we ended up at Macaroni Grill since it’s near the house. They should have never given us paper tablecloths and crayons. LOL. I’m sure whoever cleared our table thinks we’re crazy. Hubby discovered some word game on his iPhone and we decided to play (sans iPhone) on the tablecloth. Of course I beat him 3-1. I call it payback for him almost always beating me at Scrabble. I have yet to figure out how he wins when I know more words. But in any event, the weather was great, our server was great and the food was great - just a perfect night.
that date sounds like the kind of moment we need to cherish!
