Confession time ladies
February 15, 2008To hubby, it seems that I’m always looking for shoes. It’s not that I buy a lot of shoes but I have very specific ideas for what I want and it sometimes takes a long time to find it. I was mentioning to hubby last night that I need to exchange some black boots I bought that run small and that the heel on my brown boots is all jacked up so I’ll have to get a new pair if the shoe shop can’t fix them. I also mentioned that I need to buy more shoe boxes from The Container Store. This prompted him to ask him how many pair of shoes I have. I don’t know exactly but it’s 50+, which I think is on the low side for women. Of course, he thinks that it’s a lot. So ladies, how many pair of shoes do you own?
Probably 80 pair. Add in there for him that the winter is almost over so when you buy the new boots, they will be deeply discounted and you are thus saving y’all some money.. LOL!

He actually doesn’t care what I spend, just in his mind (and is actually somewhat true), I’m always looking for shoes. First it was some black comfy casual shoes, then it was gray shoes for work (still looking cause no one had my size in the ones I found), then it was the black boots and now it may be brown boots too.

I counted them when I moved last year. Back then, I think it was around 60, so I probably have about 70 now.
If you’re hubby is getting on you for always looking at shoes, I wonder what he’d say if he knew how often I “think” about having a new pair. LOL
