The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
May 5, 2008Well the good news is that I finally finished my online class on Friday.
The bad news is that because I’m such a procrastinator and waited until the last minute to complete the coursework/exams, I didn’t do as well as I should have. I got an A (91%) but I know I could have done much better. That said, I do plan to re-read the material that I just skimmed the first time around.
The bad news is that I stepped in a crack in the sidewalk on the way in to work and scraped the leather off the heel of my shoe!
I plan to take it to the shoe repair place but I’m not sure if they’ll be able to repair it because it’s pink leather. Bleh. In other shoe news, the shoes I ordered from DSW finally came and they are NOT a true 8.5. Those shoes were so tight that I could barely get them on. Of course, they don’t have them at any of the stores near me so I’ll have to mail them back. I’m debating whether I should exchange them for a 9 or just return them altogether.
All in all, life is good though. I keep meaning to take ‘before’ pics of the patio area. I guess I’ll do that tonight. The weather is nice so maybe I’ll get hubby to put some steak on the grill and we’ll have dinner on the deck. Good times.
